So maybe you are eating low carb and losing weight, but you are now stuck in a rut of eating the same things and missing some of your favorites. The Wedge salad is a standard at nice steak houses and is quickly made at home. It will make you feel like you are really indulging.
- 1 head iceberg lettuce cut in to four wedges
- 6 strips of bacon
- 1 chopped tomato
- chopped green or red onion
- blue cheese crumbles
- blue cheese dressing
If you don’t like blue cheese, just add some ranch. You can also add chopped hard boiled eggs. This salad has ZERO carbs. I served it last night with salmon cooked on the grill and a large Portobello mushroom stuffed with tomatoes and cheese. NO carbs, all yumminess!!!
